About Us

History

The Arapahoe Santa Claus shop was created in 1959 to provide gifts for families in need in Englewood, Sheridan and Littleton. Toys, mostly used, were collected as well as books and clothing. Bikes were given a tune-up and paint. Dolls were repaired and given new, volunteer-made outfits.

Notable Changes Over the Years

·         Santa mostly offers new toys with a few exceptions.

·         The number of families has fluctuated over the 

          decades but currently serves over 1000 children per year.

·         Our current shop home is St James Presbyterian Church at the corner of Belleview   

           & Lowell Blvd

How Families Become Involved

Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop serves families with children aged infant through 10 years old. Families live or go to school within the Littleton, Sheridan and Englewood school district boundaries. Families learn about the shop through schools, churches and agencies. Families must register online in advance in order to shop at the Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop.

How It Works

Families register online. The families are verified and confirmed. Parents show their confirmation and ID at the shop when they check-in.

The Shopping Experience

Parents may shop for the following per child:
  2 new age-appropriate toys/crafts (or 1 bicycle)
  2 books
  1 stocking stuffer  
Plus, parents may choose one family game. Also available are donated hats, gloves, socks while they last.

How you can help us:

Please visit our booth at the Downtown Littleton Block Party on June 14th on Main Street, from 5:30 - 10:30 pm. We will be selling light-up toys to benefit our 2025 Santa Claus Shop this December.
